This 2009 thesis evaluates the financial feasibility of agroforestry promoted by industries in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Using data from 47 farmers, it analyzes costs, revenues, Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), and other financial metrics. The study concludes that agroforestry is a profitable land use alternative and identifies factors influencing profitability, including farmer demographics, farm characteristics, and agroforestry practices.
